Organic Millet Grain is a small, naturally gluten-free grain with a mild, slightly nutty flavour that can be cooked fluffy like rice or, with a little more water, mashed into a creamy porridge or polenta-style side. It's a staple grain across Africa and Asia, and works well in pilafs, stuffed vegetables and grain salads where a light, fluffy texture is wanted. Toasting the dry grain briefly in a pan before adding water brings out a deeper, nuttier flavour. Certified organic and vegan, with no added sugar, it's a versatile everyday gluten-free grain. Simmer in around two parts water for 15-20 minutes until tender and fluffy. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, where it will keep well for many months.
