Organic Quinoa is a naturally gluten-free grain (technically a seed) valued for being a complete protein, containing all nine essential amino acids, alongside a good source of fibre and iron. Its light, fluffy texture and mild, slightly nutty flavour make it a versatile base for grain bowls, salads and sides, and it cooks quickly compared with most wholegrains. Rinse it well before cooking to remove its natural bitter coating, then simmer in around two parts water until the grains turn translucent and the germ visibly separates, usually 15-20 minutes. Certified organic, vegan and gluten-free, with no added sugar, it fits comfortably into most dietary patterns. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, where it will keep well for many months.

Dispatch times
