Organic Spirulina Powder is made from a naturally occurring blue-green algae, with a strong, distinctly "green" and slightly salty flavour that's best introduced gradually into smoothies, juices or water, starting with a small amount and building up as your palate adjusts. It's also used in homemade energy balls, raw treats and baking, where a small amount adds a vivid green-blue colour along with its characteristic flavour. Because its flavour is quite intense, it's usually blended with sweeter or stronger-flavoured ingredients like banana, mango or cacao to balance it out. Certified organic, vegan and gluten-free, with no added sugar. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, to keep it fresh.
