Organic Tiger Nut Flour is milled from tiger nuts, which despite the name are actually a small root vegetable rather than a true nut, making this flour naturally nut-free as well as gluten-free. It has a subtly sweet, almost caramel-like flavour, and works well in paleo and grain-free baking, pancakes and as a partial substitute for wheat flour in recipes developed for it. Because it behaves differently to wheat flour, it's best used in recipes specifically written for tiger nut flour rather than a direct one-to-one swap. Certified organic, vegan, gluten-free and nut-free, with no added sugar, it's a useful option for anyone managing both gluten and tree nut allergies. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
