Organic Toasted Coconut is desiccated coconut lightly toasted to a golden colour, bringing out a deeper, nuttier, almost caramelised flavour compared with plain desiccated coconut. It makes a naturally appealing topping for smoothie bowls, porridge, yoghurt and ice cream, adds texture and flavour to homemade granola and trail mix, and works well folded into cake batters and macaroons for extra depth. Its golden colour also makes it a more visually appealing garnish than untoasted coconut for finished dishes. Certified organic, vegan and gluten-free, with no added sugar, it fits comfortably into most dietary patterns. Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry place, where it will keep well for several months.
