This is the strongest CoQ10 Lamberts make, at four times the strength of a typical 50mg capsule.

Each capsule supplies 200mg of co-enzyme Q10 in the ubiquinone form. Ubiquinone is the standard, well-researched form and is considerably cheaper to produce than ubiquinol, which is why most high-strength products use it.

It is encapsulated with sunflower seed oil and sunflower lecithin. That matters more than it sounds: CoQ10 is fat-soluble and absorbs poorly from a dry powder, so suspending it in oil with lecithin is a deliberate formulation choice rather than filler.

Lamberts' directions are one capsule daily.

The shell is made from modified starch, glycerol and carrageenan rather than gelatin, with iron oxide as a colour.

People often take CoQ10 alongside a statin, since statins reduce the body's own production. If that applies to you, mention it to your doctor or pharmacist first. A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet.
