Fema45+ is Lamberts' multivitamin aimed at women over forty-five, and the formulation differs from a standard multi in ways worth knowing.

Two tablets supply vitamin D3, vitamin K, calcium and magnesium together, plus 7.5mg of iron, 15mg of zinc, 120mg of vitamin C, 100mg of vitamin E and a full B group. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and to normal muscle function, and vitamin K and calcium also contribute to the maintenance of normal bones. Iron and the B vitamins contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

The iron level is modest at 7.5mg, which suits women who are no longer menstruating and do not need the higher amounts found in a general multivitamin.

Lamberts' directions are two tablets daily with a meal. At that rate the 180-tablet pot covers three months.

Contains iron: keep out of the reach of children. A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet.
