Oracomega pairs a fish oil with a blend of plant antioxidants, which is unusual: most omega-3 capsules contain the oil and a preservative and nothing else.

Two capsules supply 1200mg of fish body oil concentrate, providing 760mg of omega-3 fatty acids, of which 390mg is EPA and 260mg is DHA. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart at a daily intake of 250mg. Alongside the oil is an ORAC blend drawn from green tea, rosemary and grape seed.

Lamberts' directions are two capsules daily for adults aged eighteen and over, always taken with a meal. At that rate this pack lasts two months.

The reason for the antioxidant blend is practical: polyunsaturated oils oxidise readily, and the added plant extracts help protect the oil itself.

Contains fish. A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet. Speak to your doctor before taking fish oil if you are on anticoagulant medication.
