Pycnogenol is not a generic ingredient. It is a patented, standardised extract of French maritime pine bark, and products are only allowed to use the name if they contain the genuine branded material.

Each capsule supplies 40mg of Pycnogenol, a naturally rich source of proanthocyanidins. Because the extract is standardised, the amount of active constituents is consistent between batches, which is not something you can assume of an unbranded pine bark extract sold on weight alone.

Take one capsule a day, with food.

Alongside the extract are white rice powder as a bulking agent, a hydroxypropyl methylcellulose shell, and magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide as anticaking agents. There is nothing else in it.
