Zooki use liposomal encapsulation, which wraps the magnesium in a fat layer intended to carry it through the digestive tract differently from an ordinary supplement.

Each serving supplies 840mg of magnesium bisglycinate, providing 100mg of elemental magnesium. That distinction matters when comparing products: the large number on many labels is the weight of the whole compound, while the elemental figure is the magnesium itself, and the two can differ several times over.

Bisglycinate is magnesium bound to the amino acid glycine, a form generally considered gentler on the stomach than magnesium oxide.
