LithoLexal is a branded marine extract, and the formula is built around it rather than around glucosamine.

Two tablets supply 1,875mg of LithoLexal, a fractionated marine extract, providing 600mg of calcium and 41mg of magnesium, with 24mg of vitamin C, 15 micrograms of vitamin D, 0.3mg of manganese and 10mg of Vercilexal. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage, manganese contributes to normal connective tissue formation, and calcium and vitamin D both contribute to the maintenance of normal bones.

The marine extract is harvested off Iceland, and the minerals come from the plant material rather than being added as separate salts.

LithoLexal's directions are two tablets daily, one morning and one evening, giving a month from this pack.

This is a mineral-led joint formula rather than a glucosamine one, so check the labels before combining it with a separate calcium supplement.

At 600mg the calcium is a substantial contribution in its own right.

As a food supplement, take two Litholexal Joint Health tablets daily (1 in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening) with water after food.
