Maca Extract 30ml

Maca is almost always sold as a powder. This is a liquid extract, which is a different proposition entirely.

The extract is certified organic maca root, Lepidium meyenii, from Peru, at an extraction rate of 233mg of herb per 0.7ml, in a base of organic cane alcohol at 52 to 62 percent with distilled water.

Maca grows on the Peruvian altiplano at extreme altitude, above 12,000 feet, where very little else will. Peruvian origin is the mark of authenticity, since maca is now also grown at lower altitudes elsewhere.

A liquid lets you take a small, adjustable amount. Maca powder is usually taken by the tablespoon and has a strong malty taste that not everyone gets on with.

Shake the bottle first, then add one squeeze of the dropper bulb to water or juice, three or four times a day, between meals.

Note the frequency is higher here than for most of the range, at three or four times rather than two.

Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
