Maldon sea salt with Aleppo and bird's eye chillies — Aleppo brings fruity warmth, bird's eye brings actual heat. A 100g packet. Maldon have been harvesting salt from the Blackwater estuary in Essex since 1882, using the same open-pan method. The pyramid-shaped flakes are what make it crush cleanly between your fingers rather than pouring like table salt.
