Egmont's hives are situated in remote parts of the Taranaki forest, where our bee's live un-disturbed and free to roam. This results in some of the purest and cleanest forms of Manuka honey.
Manuka has been used by New Zealand's indigenous people for thousands of years, for its wellness benefits and of course, delicious taste. The same is still true today, with Manuka making a great addition to any supplement regime.
All of Egmont's honey goes through rigorous testing protocols, to ensure its quality and to determine the level of methylglyoxal (MGO) in a batch. The level of MGO determines the grade and potency of the Manuka honey. Therefore, you can rest assured that when we say our honey is high quality, it's nothing less.

For Consumption
Straight from the jar: Enjoy 1–2 tablespoons daily to support your immune system or as a natural energy boost.
In drinks: Stir into tea, warm milk, or water. Add a squeeze of lemon for an extra hit of vitamin C.
As a sweetener: Naturally sweeten smoothies, cereal, yogurt, or desserts.
With breakfast foods: Spread on whole-grain toast or drizzle over pancakes, granola, or muesli.
For Skin and Hair
Facial mask: Apply a thin layer to hydrate and nourish your skin.
Minor wounds and burns: Dab directly onto the affected area to help prevent infection and encourage healing.
Hair treatment: Blend with coconut oil, apply to damp or dry hair, leave for 30 minutes, then shampoo.
