Manuka Honey 70 MGO 500g

This is the entry grade from Manuka Pharm, in the larger 500g jar, which is the combination that makes manuka affordable for daily use.

It carries MGO 70. The MGO figure measures methylglyoxal, the compound used to grade manuka, in milligrams per kilogram, and is a direct measurement rather than a composite index. Every batch is tested to verify authenticity.

The jar holds New Zealand manuka honey and nothing else.

At MGO 70 the flavour is mild for a manuka, so this is the grade to spread, bake with or stir into porridge rather than ration by the spoon. If you want the stronger, more resinous character, the higher grades are where to look, but they cost several times as much per jar.

Buying a large jar of a low grade generally beats a small jar of a high one on value if you eat it daily.

Not suitable for infants under twelve months. Honey is high in natural sugars.

Straight from the jar: Enjoy 1–2 tablespoons daily to support your immune system or as a natural energy boost.
