Myota Metabolic Booster is a scientifically formulated prebiotic combining seven plant-based fibres to support digestive health, metabolic function and help produce GLP-1.

Developed using patented precision-engineered technology and created in Switzerland, this blend works across all gut types to optimise short-chain fatty acid production—something single-fibre supplements cannot achieve.

Each 10g scoop delivers one-third of the NHS recommended daily fibre intake, seamlessly mixing into any beverage or meal without affecting taste.

Beyond immediate digestive support, consistent use helps reduce the risk of chronic conditions including Type-2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease whilst promoting cognitive and immune wellness.

Completely natural, non-GMO, and free from gluten, preservatives, and additives, it suits all life stages from children through pregnancy.

The 300g resealable pouch provides 30 daily servings for sustained nutritional benefit.

How does fibre produce GLP-1?

GLP-1 is a gut hormone that helps to suppress appetite and reduce food cravings. When you consume fibre, your gut bacteria produce important substances called SCFAs. Along with many other functions, SCFAs help boost GLP-1 levels, and are a natural solution to help regulate appetite and keep you feeling full for longer.

Wheat fibre, Oat fibre, Galactooligosaccharides, Fructooligosaccharides, Inulin, Resistant starch, Partially hydrolysed guar gum, Guar gum

Details of each ingredient are shown below:

Wheat fibre comes from the cell walls of the wheat grain. It contains insoluble fibres (including arabinoxylans) that help create softer, bulkier stools to relieve constipation. The wheat fibre is suitable for those with coeliac disease (certified gluten-free).

Oat fibre comes from the outer shell of the oat grain. Oat contains both soluble and insoluble fibres, helping to improve constipation, abdominal pain and bloating. Oats also contains beta-glucan, a powerhouse fibre with beneficial effects on blood cholesterol levels. Our oats are suitable for those with coeliac disease (certified gluten-free).

Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) is a soluble prebiotic fibre derived from chicory root. It is highly fermentable by gut microbiota, resulting in large increases in butyrate and propionate (anti-inflammatory Short-Chain Fatty Acids). Butyrate helps to reduce inflammation in the gut and whole body, and strengthen the gut barrier lining.

Galactooligosaccharides (GOS) is a soluble and fermentable fibre that comes from dairy, legumes, and some nuts. GOS contributes to a healthy gut microbiome by encouraging the growth of beneficial bacteria, including Bifidobacterium.

Inulin is a soluble prebiotic fibre derived from chicory root. It is highly fermentable by gut microbiota, resulting in large increases in butyrate (an anti-inflammatory Short-Chain Fatty Acid). Research supports a role of butyrate in glucose metabolism and insulin sensitivity (e.g., how effective your body can lower blood glucose).

Resistant starch is a prebiotic fibre derived from maize. It is well-fermented by gut microbiota, resulting in the production of anti-inflammatory Short-Chain Fatty Acids. Through its role as a prebiotic, resistant dextrin has been shown to reduce inflammation and improve insulin sensitivity (e.g., how effective your body can lower blood glucose).

Partially hydrolysed guar gum (PHGG) is a prebiotic fibre derived from guar beans. PHGG promotes the growth of beneficial gut bacteria without inducing bloating or gas. It is best known for its role in relieving constipation, diarrhoea, and bloating for those with sensitive tummies. Through its role in relieving gut symptoms and promoting Short-Chain Fatty Acids, PHGG has been linked to increased quality of life.

Guar gum comes from the seed of the guar plant. It's a soluble and viscous (gel-forming) fibre that normalises the moisture content of stool, helping to absorb excess water in diarrhoea, and soften stools in constipation.

Zinc is an essential mineral which contributes to normal cognitive function, supports immune function, as well as the maintenance of healthy hair, skin, and nails. Our source of zinc comes from zinc 3-hydrate and provides 30% of the recommended daily intake.

If this is your first time trying a fibre supplement, start with 5g a day (half a scoop) and gradually build up to 10g a day (one scoop). Make sure you drink 8-10 glasses of water a day to keep your fibre flowing. Add it to smoothies. Stir it into yoghurt. Sprinkle on your morning muesli. the product comes as a flavourless powder so you can easily dissolve it into food and hot or cold drinks.
