LIVER FUNCTION AND FAT METABOLISM

Active Liver™ is the tablet which may help support your liver if you live “the fat life”. The tablet, which is manufactured in Sweden contains a herbal extract combination of milk thistle, globe artichoke, turmeric, and black pepper plus the vitamin choline. Globe artichoke supports your daily liver-bile-function. The content of choline contribute to maintain normal liver function and fat (lipid) metabolism.

RECOMMENDED TO

When living a lifestyle not properly nutritionally balanced leading to lack of essential nutrients that support a proper liver function (for example lack of choline).
When overweight and suffering from non-alcoholic fatty liver due to malnutrition resulting in poor health and unhealthy looking skin.
Sugar is compared by glucose and fructose. When consuming high amounts of sugar and fructose the fructose will easily be stored in the liver as fat and you will develop at fatty liver with a buttery consistency similar to the well known ”Foie gras” from corn fed geese and ducks.

MILK THISTLE (Silibum marianum L. Gaertn.)
Silybum marianum better known as Milk thistle has its origin in the mediterranean. Milk thistle is used both as food and medical herb. The milk thistles in this tablet are carefully chosen, dried and extracted, for the desired plan substances to be preserved.

ARTICHOKE (Cynara scolymus L.)
Artichoke is an upwards growing thistle like perennial with a thick furrowed stem and large leaves. The artichoke is a perennial, which has been now throughout the mediterranean in more than 2000 years. It is the dried leaves from the plant, that are used in this tablet.

TURMERIC (Curcuma longa L.)
Turmeric is a perennial in the ginger family, which is found in the tropical south Asia. Turmeric grows wild in forrests, where the plant thrives under temperatures between 20° and 30° and large amounts of rain.

Milk thistle extract (Silybum marianum, L.), globe artichoke extract (Cynara scolymus, L.), choline hydrogen tartrat, filling agent (microcrystalline cellulose), turmeric extract (Curcuma longa, L), disintegrator (crosslinked sodiumcarboxymethylcellulose), black pepper extract (Piper nigrum, L), coating agents (vegetable magnesiumsalts of fatty acids, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, gum Arabic, talcum, glycerine), anti-caking agent (siliciumdioxide), modified potato starch.

Take 1 tablet with a glass of water. Food supplements are intended to supplement the diet, and should not be a substitute for a varied diet or healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the stated dose.
