They're just as useful for making your own stuffing, coating fish or vegetables before frying or baking, or binding meatballs and veggie burgers. Being made from white bread, they have a light, neutral flavour that takes on whatever they're paired with, rather than competing with it. They're packed in plastic-free packaging, so the packaging aligns with the same lower-waste thinking behind the product. As a wheat-based product, they do contain gluten, so they aren't suitable for a gluten-free diet. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place to keep them crisp.
