Organic Brown Sushi Rice brings the fuller flavour and extra fibre of a wholegrain to classic sushi rolls, nigiri and rice bowls, while still developing the light stickiness needed to hold sushi together once cooked and seasoned with rice vinegar. It's a good option if you want the familiar ritual of homemade sushi with a slightly nuttier, more wholesome result than white sushi rice. Rinse thoroughly before cooking to remove excess starch, then simmer and season while still warm for the best texture and flavour. Being a wholegrain, it takes a little longer to cook than white sushi rice — allow around 30-35 minutes. Certified organic and vegan, with no added sugar, it suits most plant-based diets. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
