Colonia ECO Polyfloral Cream Honey - 420 g
Each jar is sealed with a label on the lid.
The term "raw honey" or "live honey" is used when referring to honey that is cold-extracted and kept in its natural state, without being heated.
Colonia Raw Honey is natural, pure, and unheated, thus preserving the active enzymes and vitamins that give it exceptional nutritional properties and health benefits.
Creamed honey is honey that has been processed to control crystallization. Also known as honey fondant, it has a smooth, spreadable consistency and a lighter color than liquid honey of the same floral source.
Creamed honey appears lighter because the crystallized fructose and glucose reflect light differently, giving it a whiter look. Creamed honey is always lighter in color than liquid honey from the same floral source. For the same reason, liquid honey that has crystallized appears lighter than honey that has been liquefied.
Creamed honey won't drip like liquid honey. It also won't crystallize into a hard block, unlike raw liquid honey. That's because it's already crystallized, but in micro-particles so fine that they create a creamy texture instead of a solid mass.
Polyfloral honey is made from the nectar and pollen of various plant species that bloom around the same time of year. Though it is a relatively common honey type, it is unique in flavor and color. Some people prefer its taste over monofloral varieties because it combines nectar and pollen from many flowering plants, resulting in a rich and authentic flavor profile.
