Steam-Distilled Rose Otto from Turkey
Rose Otto, named after the Ottoman Empire, is produced through water or steam distillation from fresh rose petals. This organic oil comes from a small network of certified organic farms in Turkey, where flowers are harvested daily and distilled by a cooperative. The distillation method preserves the finest fragrance qualities of the rose, superior to solvent extraction methods.
Extracting oil from rose petals requires exceptional skill due to the fragility of the petals. The distillation process must happen immediately after harvest to capture the full aromatic profile. Absolute Aromas has selected this Rose Otto specifically for its purity and quality standards.
Diluted in Organic Jojoba Oil
The pure organic Rose Otto in this product has been diluted to 3% concentration in organic Jojoba Oil. Jojoba is a fine carrier oil high in vitamin E, making it ideal for facial massage or blending with other oils for massage and bath applications. This dilution makes the precious Rose Otto more accessible while maintaining its therapeutic properties.

Traditional Rose Oil Production
Rose has been valued for centuries across cultures. While over 10,000 cultivated rose varieties exist, only specific types are suitable for essential oil production. The two primary extraction methods are solvent extraction (producing absolute) and distillation (producing essential oil). Though solvent extraction yields more product, distillation creates a superior fragrance profile, which is why this Rose Otto uses the traditional distillation method.

Orders under £40 are charged £3.99 for Royal Mail Tracked delivery. There is no weight limit on UK deliveries.

Delivery is charged at £10 per kg and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Rest of the World
Delivery is charged at £15 per kg and is calculated automatically at checkout.

Please note that we cannot send liquids over 100ml outside the UK.
As international deliveries are handled by local postal and courier services, we cannot guarantee delivery times once your order has left the UK.
Dispatch Times
Orders placed before 12:00pm (midday), Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) are usually dispatched the same working day.
While we always aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, processing times may be slightly longer during particularly busy periods.
Returns
If there is a problem with your order, please contact us by email within 7 working days of receiving it. We will provide a returns label and, once the item has been received and inspected, we will either issue a refund to your original payment method or send a replacement.
If you have changed your mind or ordered the wrong product, please contact us by email within 7 working days. We will be happy to arrange a refund or exchange. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item.
We provide free returns only where we have made an error with your order or if your item has arrived damaged.
To be eligible for a refund or exchange, all returned items must be unopened and in full resaleable condition.
