It supplies Lactobacillus acidophilus CUL60, Bifidobacterium animalis lactis CUL34, Lactobacillus casei CUL06, Lactobacillus plantarum CUL66, Streptococcus thermophilus CUL68 and Bifidobacterium bifidum CUL20, alongside maitake and shiitake mushroom fruiting body extracts. The CUL codes matter: they identify the specific strain rather than just the species, and strains within a species behave differently.

Higher Nature's directions are one capsule a day for maintenance, with the option of two at times when you want more, such as after a course of antibiotics.
