Quebra pedra is the Brazilian common name for Phyllanthus niruri, and this is the plain leaf powder rather than an extract.

Each capsule supplies 500mg of Phyllanthus niruri leaf powder grown in Brazil, in a hydroxypropyl methylcellulose shell. There is nothing else in it, which is unusual: many botanical capsules are largely bulking agent with a modest amount of herb.

The plant has a long history of use both in the Amazon and in ayurvedic practice in India, where it is known by different names.

Rio Amazon's directions are three capsules a day before food, and they specifically ask that you drink plenty of water, around two litres daily, while taking it. That instruction is theirs and worth following as written.
