Lactase Enzyme 200mg 90 Tablets

Lactase is the enzyme that breaks down lactose, the sugar in milk. People who produce little of it can take it alongside dairy instead of avoiding it.

Each tablet supplies 200mg of lactase, delivering 2000 acid lactase units. ALU is the measure of enzyme activity, and it is the figure worth comparing, since the milligram weight of a lactase product tells you nothing useful about how active it is.

Lactase improves lactose digestion in people who have difficulty digesting lactose. For the effect, take it immediately before any meal or drink containing lactose, rather than at a fixed time of day.

This is a single-enzyme tablet rather than a broad digestive blend, so it does nothing for anything other than lactose, and there is nothing else in it competing for space.

At 90 tablets the pot outlasts the smaller packs comfortably if you eat dairy regularly.
