Rice Pure Red Yeast Rice is organic European red yeast rice powder in vegetarian capsules, 90 to a pot.

Red yeast rice is made by fermenting rice with the yeast Monascus purpureus. It has been made this way in Asia for centuries, where it is also used to colour and flavour food. Ricepure source their powder from Europe and ferment it under controlled temperature and growing conditions.

The capsules contain red yeast rice powder and nothing else: no binders, fillers or other excipients, in a vegetarian (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose) capsule.

Red yeast rice naturally contains monacolin K. Check the pack for the amount of monacolin K in the daily dose.

Please read before taking: red yeast rice contains monacolin K, the same compound as the prescription medicine lovastatin. Do not take it if you take a statin or any other cholesterol-lowering medicine, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you are under 18. Speak to your GP or pharmacist first if you take any regular medication, and stop taking it and seek advice if you get unexplained muscle pain. Do not exceed the stated dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

4 Ricepure capsules contain 2400mg of Organic European red yeast rice powder providing a minimum 10mg of Monnacolin K.

Capsule shell: hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose.
