Camu camu is among the richest natural sources of vitamin C known, and this is a concentrated extract of it.

Each capsule supplies 500mg of a minimum 16:1 camu camu extract from Brazil, containing at least 20 percent naturally occurring vitamin C, which works out at 100mg or more per capsule. Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system, to normal collagen formation and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

The carrier is maltodextrin from a non-corn source, in a hydroxypropyl methylcellulose capsule.

Whether naturally sourced vitamin C differs meaningfully from ascorbic acid is genuinely debated. What is not in doubt is that this comes with the rest of the fruit's constituents rather than as an isolated compound, which is why people choose it.

Rio Amazon's directions are two capsules before food, up to five times a day, to a maximum of ten.
