Emma Basic
Shaoxing Rice Wine 168ml

*100% Clean Label : Zero Artificial Colouring. Most supermarket Shaoxing wines rely on Caramel Colour E150C to fake the rich amber colour of properly aged rice wine. Emma Basic contains only 3 ingredients: water, glutinous rice, and natural wheat starter (qu). The deep amber you see in the bottle is earned by time *Slow Fermentation : Time Is the Hidden Ingredient - 11+ Months of Natural Fermentation. Every bottle is handcrafted in small batches using traditional brewing techniques. No accelerators, no shortcuts, no rapid mass production. Just the depth, complexity and mellow finish that only real time can build. *Authentic Origin: Brewed in Shaoxing & Certified to GB/T 13662-2018: Shaoxing is to yellow/Rice wine what Champagne is to sparkling wine - a protected origin with over 2,500 years of brewing heritage, authentic, traceable, and standard-certified. *Savory Aroma :Subtle aromas of honey, toasted nuts and soft umami, with a clean, balanced finish. Exceptional with scallops, prawns, steamed fish and drunken chicken. *Lower Alcohol: At just 10% ABV, Noticeably Lighter and Smoother. While the typical UK supermarket Shaoxing wine sits at 14-15% ABV, Emma Basic is brewed to a softer 10% alcohol by volume. The result is a rounder, less astringent finish that lifts flavour without dominating it - equally at home a small sipping cup alongside dim sum or a delicate steamed fish.
