A member of the asparagus family, shatavari thrives in many parts of tropical India and Asia.
It is a thorny plant with thin leaves, white flowers, red berries and most importantly-a vast network of
tuberous roots. This is the part of the plant that is used for food and as an herbal remedy in Ayurveda.

May be helpful in improving menstrual disorders and acts as a uterine tonic. Regulates hormone imbalance and may enhance breast milk production.
