Solgar's Deglycyrrhised Licorice Root Extract can be used for:

  • Stomach and duodenal ulcers
  • Digestive damage caused by non-steroidal qualities drugs (NSAIDs).

Studies have show deglycyrrhised licorice to be as effective as common anti-ulcer drugs but without the associated side-effects. Non-steroidal qualities drugs damage the stomach lining. This is well known but scientific research has shown deglycyrrhised licorice can protect the stomach from damage that might occur during long term treatment with NSAIDs.

Solgar Standardised Full Potency Deglycyrrhised Licorice Root Extract vegicaps contain:
250mg Standardised Deglycyrrhised Licorice Root Extract
225mg Raw Licorice Root Powder
Standardised Deglycyrrhised Licorice Root Powdered Extract (<1% glycyrrhizin), Raw Licorice Root Powder, Vegetable Capsule Shell: hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, Anti-caking Agent: vegetable magnesium stearate, Antioxidant (powdered blend of beta-carotene prep. and ascorbic acid). 
Sugar, salt and starch free.
Suitable for vegans.

Take 1 to 3 vegicaps daily with meals, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
