DHA is a long chain polyunsaturated fatty acid normally found in oily fish such as sardines, mackerel and salmon. However, Solgar's Vegetarian DHA is derived from a plant algae source rich in the important Omega 3 fatty acid.

DHA is an omega 3 fatty acid, found in high concentrations in the brain and retina, and is very important for:

  • Brain development
  • Eye development
  • Mental performance
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

Each solgar DHA Softgel contains:
200mg High Oleic Sunflower Oil approx. 100mg Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) from 500mg of DHA rich oil derived from an organic vegetable algae
125ug Antioxidant Vitamin C
125ug Antioxidant Vitamin E
DHA-rich oil (from microalgae Schizochytrium sp.) providing: Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA), Vegetarian Softgel Capsule Shell: (corn starch, vegetable glycerin (from palm oil), carrageenan, sorbitol), Natural Colours: (beta-carotene, caramel), Antioxidants: (ascorbyl palmitate, mixed tocopherols), Sunflower Oil, Natural Flavour: rosemary extract, Emulsifier: sunflower lecithin.
Sugar, salt and starch free.

Take 1 to 2 softgels daily with meals, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

International deliveries are handled by local postal and courier services. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed once your order has left the UK.

Dispatch times
