Vitamin C is an antioxidant vitamin essential to the body's health and is especially important for maintaining healthy skin.

Also known as ascorbic acid, Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin. Humans cannot make their own Vitamin C so daily replenishment is essential. Its primary function is to maintain collagen, a protein necessary for the formation of skin, ligaments, bones and teeth, and for the strength of blood vessel walls. In addition, Vitamin C plays an important part in the absorption of iron, which is necessary for the formation of red blood cells. It also plays a role in the utilisation of folic acid.

Each Solgar Kangavite Chewable Vitamin C provides:
100mg Vitamin C (as L-ascorbic acid)
Bulking Agents: (sucrose, fructose, microcrystalline cellulose, maltodextrin, mannitol, xylitol, arrageenan, gum arabic, xanthan gum, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose), Vitamin C (as sodium ascorbate, L-Ascorbic acid), Anti-caking Agents: (vegetable stearic acid, silicon dioxide, vegetable magnesium stearate), Colour: freeze dried carrot juice concentrate, Acerola Powdered Extract (4:1), Natural Flavourings: (orange, Prosweet), Powdered Rose Hips.

Children ages four and older, take one (1) chewable tablet daily, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Can also be taken by adults!
