Vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble vitamin that is essential to our health. It is required for calcium and phosphorus absorption and utilisation.

Vitamin D3 is also necessary for growth, development and maintenance of bones and teeth in adults and children. In its active form, Vitamin D3 works with calcium to control bone formation.

Vitamin D3 is unique in that man and animals normally obtain it from two sources: the spontaneous formation in the skin by the sun via a photochemical reaction in the epidermis, and the eating of a food that contains Vitamin D3.

Each Solgar Vitamin D3 Softgel provides:
25ug Vitamin D3 (1000iu from Fish Liver Oil and cholecalciferol)
Bulking Agent: safflower oil, Softgel Capsule Shell: (gelatin (from bovine), vegetable glycerin (from palm kernel oil and coconut oil)), Vitamin D3 (from fish liver oil and cholecalciferol). 
Sugar, salt and starch free.

Take 1 Solgar Vitamin D3 25ug Softgel daily, preferably at mealtimes, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
