Why is it infused?
In order to adhere to EU olive oil guidelines, and allow retailers to legally sell on tap the olive oil is infused with trace amounts of Rosemary. It is an infusion in name only and the taste and smell are not affected.
important information: if you receive your olive oil in a glass bottle during cold days (winter), Open the lid just after delivery until the oil warms up a little bit.
With changes of temperature, the oil expands and potentially can break your glass bottle.
To ensure we are in line with regulations around selling EVOO in the UK, the oil has been infused with trace amounts of rosemary. The infusion is so subtle it is hardly noticeable, but means it is legal to sell this product on tap in the UK.
