The extract is St John's Wort flowering top, Hypericum perforatum, responsibly wildcrafted in the USA from fresh undried material, at an extraction rate of 467mg of fresh herb per 0.7ml. That is the highest herb ratio in Herb Pharm's range that we stock.

It is gathered in the Oregon mountains close to the summer solstice, when the flowering tops are at their peak. Wildcrafted means gathered from wild populations rather than cultivated, which for this plant is the traditional practice.

Shake well, then add one squeeze of the dropper bulb to water or juice, two to five times a day, between meals.

St John's Wort interacts with a great many prescription medicines, including the contraceptive pill, anticoagulants, antidepressants and some heart and HIV medications. Do not take it if you are on any prescribed medication without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist first. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
