Vitamin C 1500mg 100 Tablets

Each tablet supplies 1500mg of vitamin C as ascorbic acid, with HPMC and crosslinked sodium carboxymethyl cellulose as stabilisers, microcrystalline cellulose as a bulking agent, and silica as an anticaking agent. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of gums, skin and blood vessels, to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

This is plain ascorbic acid rather than a buffered form. It is the most economical way to take vitamin C, though buffered versions such as calcium or magnesium ascorbate suit people who find plain vitamin C sharp on an empty stomach.

HealthAid's directions are one tablet daily with food, preferably in the morning, and adults may take up to two.
