At 425 softgels this is by some distance the longest-lasting vitamin D we stock.

Each softgel supplies 4000 IU of vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol, which is 100 micrograms, carried in sunflower oil. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, to normal muscle function, and to the normal function of the immune system.

Vitamin D is fat-soluble, so a softgel suspended in oil is a sensible format; a dry form relies on there being fat in whatever you eat alongside it.

Take one softgel daily with food. At that rate this tub lasts well over a year, which is what makes the price per day so low.

The shell is bovine gelatine, so it is not suitable for vegetarians. Vitabright do not currently offer a vegan alternative at this strength.

4000 IU is a high daily amount, at the upper end of what is generally advised without medical supervision. Do not exceed the stated dose.
