RAW Manuka Honey KFactor 12 250g

KFactor 12 is Wedderspoon's everyday grade, and this smaller jar is the sensible place to start if you have not bought manuka before.

Wedderspoon grade with their own KFactor scale rather than MGO or UMF. KFactor 12 signifies a monofloral manuka, meaning the bees foraged predominantly on manuka rather than a mix of flowers. Because the three scales measure different things, a KFactor number cannot be converted into an MGO or UMF one.

The honey is raw and unpasteurised, so it has not been heated in the way most honey is before bottling. That leaves it thicker and more granular, and it may crystallise in the jar, which is normal.

The single ingredient is New Zealand manuka honey.

We stock the same grade in a 500g jar, and KFactor 16 in both sizes, if you want to step up.

Not suitable for infants under twelve months. Honey is high in natural sugars.

For Consumption

Straight from the jar: Enjoy 1–2 tablespoons daily to support your immune system or as a natural energy boost.

In drinks: Stir into tea, warm milk, or water. Add a squeeze of lemon for an extra hit of vitamin C.

As a sweetener: Naturally sweeten smoothies, cereal, yogurt, or desserts.

With breakfast foods: Spread on whole-grain toast or drizzle over pancakes, granola, or muesli.

For Skin and Hair

Facial mask: Apply a thin layer to hydrate and nourish your skin.

Minor wounds and burns: Dab directly onto the affected area to help prevent infection and encourage healing.

Hair treatment: Blend with coconut oil, apply to damp or dry hair, leave for 30 minutes, then shampoo.

Other Uses

Cough and sore throat: A spoonful can help soothe irritation and ease coughing.

Digestive health: Its natural properties may calm acid reflux and heartburn.

Oral care: Known to reduce plaque and support gum health thanks to its antibacterial effects.
