Weleda have made this oil for decades, and it is one of the better-known products in the category.

The base is sweet almond oil, jojoba seed oil and wheatgerm oil, with arnica montana flower extract and a natural essential oil fragrance. The fragrance components declared, limonene, linalool, citronellol, geraniol, citral and eugenol, come from those essential oils rather than being added synthetically.

Their directions are to massage in two to three times daily, from early pregnancy through to the end of breastfeeding, using light circular movements.

The frequency and the length of time are the instruction that matters. This is a routine rather than a product that does anything on its own, and the people who rate it are the ones who kept it up.

Contains wheatgerm and almond, so avoid if you are sensitive to either. It is fragranced, unlike the unscented Fushi alternative we also stock.
