Bold Vision Proactive brings together several eye nutrients that are usually sold individually, in two daily softgels.

It contains FloraGLO lutein and zeaxanthin, both suspended in safflower oil, alongside astaxanthin, anthocyanins from European bilberry, zinc as zinc picolinate, and vitamin E from non-GMO sunflower. Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal vision. FloraGLO is the most studied branded lutein, which is why formulators name it on the label rather than listing lutein generically.

Unusually, the base is concentrated fish oil from pollock supplying omega-7 fatty acids, rather than the plain vegetable oil most lutein capsules use.

Take two capsules daily with food. Lutein and zeaxanthin are fat-soluble, so food helps.

The capsule shell is made from tilapia-derived fish gelatin with palm glycerin. This is not suitable for vegetarians, and contains fish.

A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet. It is not a replacement for regular eye examinations with an optician.
