Is the gluten-free muesli safe for coeliacs?
The gluten-free lines are made to that standard and labelled accordingly. Always check the pack, and if you have coeliac disease, look for the certified gluten-free statement on the product page.
Is Alara muesli sweetened?
Most blends have no added sugar — the sweetness comes from dried fruit. Where sugar is added it appears in the ingredients list.
Is the range organic?
The great majority is certified organic. Alara were the first cereal company to hold that certification, back in the 1980s.
Can muesli be eaten other than with milk?
Yes — soaked overnight in juice or yoghurt, stirred into porridge, or used as a crumble topping. Soaking softens the grains and makes them easier to digest for some people.
