What is the difference between ubiquinone and ubiquinol?
They are two forms of the same nutrient. Ubiquinone is the conventional, cheaper form; ubiquinol costs more. Compare price per milligram rather than assuming one is better.
Should I take it with food?
Yes – it is fat soluble, so a meal containing some fat helps considerably. On an empty stomach much less is absorbed.
Which strength should I buy?
Work out the cost per milligram across the pack sizes on offer. That usually answers it more honestly than the strength on the front.
Can I take it with prescribed medication?
Ask your pharmacist first. It is a quick question and worth asking before starting any supplement alongside medication.
