Alkaline pH 180 Capsules

Alkaline pH supplies potassium and sodium as bicarbonates, with a little concentrated kale and spinach, and comes with test strips so you can measure rather than guess.

Five capsules provide 945mg of potassium, forty-seven percent of the reference intake, and 407mg of sodium, plus kale leaf extract equivalent to 500mg of kale powder and spinach leaf extract equivalent to 200mg of spinach powder. Potassium contributes to normal muscle function and to the maintenance of normal blood pressure.

Higher Nature's directions are five to six capsules with a glass of water, ideally first thing in the morning or between meals.

The sodium content is substantial at 407mg across five capsules, which is worth knowing if you are watching your salt intake.

The included test strips are the practical part: they let you check rather than assume, which is unusual for a supplement of this kind.

Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Not suitable if you have kidney problems or take potassium-sparing medication; check with your doctor first. A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet.
