AshwaMAG combines two supplements that are frequently bought separately, and names the branded form of each rather than listing them generically.

Two capsules supply 141mg of magnesium as PrizMAG magnesium bisglycinate, with 125mg of Sensoril ashwagandha, an extract drawn from both root and leaf. Magnesium contributes to normal psychological function, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and to normal muscle function.

Sensoril is a branded ashwagandha standardised to a stated withanolide content, and using root and leaf together distinguishes it from root-only extracts such as KSM-66. Neither is better outright; they are simply different preparations, and the brand name tells you which you are getting.

The capsule shell is pullulan, a fermented tapioca material, so it suits vegans.

Take two capsules daily, giving a month from this pack. Both ingredients are ones people tend to take in the evening, though neither instruction specifies a time.

Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Speak to your doctor first if you take thyroid or sedative medication.
