Zimtsterne are German cinnamon stars: a chewy ground-almond and cinnamon base under a crisp white meringue top, and naturally free from wheat flour. Lambertz has been baking them in Aachen since 1688 and they are a fixture of the German Christmas biscuit plate. A 175g pack, best with coffee.
