Magnesium Powder Unflavoured 150g

This is magnesium as an unflavoured powder you mix yourself, with two ingredients in the tub.

It contains citric acid and magnesium carbonate, which react in water to form magnesium citrate in solution. That is why the powder fizzes when you add it to warm water, and why it is described as ionic: the magnesium is in solution rather than swallowed as a compound.

A 2.7g serving supplies 250mg of magnesium. Magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, to normal muscle function and to normal psychological function.

Mag365 suggest starting at 2g, one teaspoon, daily and building gradually to a maximum of 4g.

Unflavoured means genuinely unflavoured: it is sharp and sour from the citric acid. Mag365 make a raspberry and lemon version sweetened with stevia if that does not appeal.

Reduce the amount you take if it loosens your stools, which is the usual sign of too much magnesium.

At 2g a day this tub lasts around ten weeks.

Suggested Use: Individual needs may vary. Start by taking 2g (1 teaspoon) daily and gradually increase to maximally 4g (2 teaspoons) per day. This can be taken during or outside meals.

Directions: Mix in a glass or mug with 20-30ml of hot water. Let it fizz, then stir until dissolved. Fill the remainder of the glass or mug with warm or cold water and enjoy.
