Seggiano Trapanese Pesto is the Sicilian answer to Genovese pesto, from the port of Trapani. It blends tomatoes and almonds with basil in place of the pine nuts and parmesan of the northern version, giving something lighter, sweeter and a little rustic. Stir through hot pasta with a spoonful of the cooking water for a quick meal. Suitable for vegans.
