Dr Edward Bach was a physician and bacteriologist who, in the 1930s, developed a set of 38 preparations, each made from a single flower, tree or plant. The system he left behind has been made the same way ever since and remains one of the best-known traditional practices of its kind.
Each remedy is supplied as a 20ml liquid in a dropper bottle. They are traditionally selected individually or combined, and are chosen according to the framework Bach set out.
The set covers the full traditional list — among them Gorse, Gentian, Holly, Honeysuckle, Hornbeam, Larch, Impatiens and Heather.
People generally either know which remedy they are looking for, or work with a registered Bach practitioner to choose. We stock the individual remedies rather than pre-made combinations, so you can buy exactly the one you want.
We have stocked the Bach range for many years and hold the individual remedies rather than just the best-known ones, so the less commonly requested names are usually available.
Free UK delivery on orders over £40, with orders placed before midday Monday to Friday aimed for same-day dispatch.
Expert, impartial advice on 01323 928523, 9am–5pm Monday to Friday.
We are not able to advise on which remedy to choose. Selection follows the framework Dr Bach set out, and the Bach Centre maintains a register of trained practitioners if you would like guidance.
Follow the directions on the bottle. The remedies are preserved in brandy, which is worth knowing if you avoid alcohol. Keep out of reach of children, and if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking prescribed medication, speak to your GP or pharmacist first.
