Why is B6 in so many of these?
Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity and to normal psychological function, which is why it turns up in most formulas aimed at this point in the cycle - either on its own or inside a B-complex.
What does no fillers or binders actually mean?
Most mass-market tablets contain bulking agents, flow agents and coatings to make them cheaper and faster to press. Viridian leaves them out, so the capsule holds the active ingredients and little else. It is one of the main reasons we stock them.
How long before I can tell if it suits me?
For herbals, manufacturers generally suggest giving it around three cycles - they work gradually rather than immediately. Magnesium and B6 are usually taken as an ongoing daily supplement rather than a short course.
Is evening primrose oil suitable for vegetarians?
The oil is plant-derived, but plenty are sold in gelatine capsules. Vegetarian and vegan versions are available and you can isolate them with the filters above.
